I love learning and enjoy being able to utilize my strengths and skills to serve others. Work is an important way for me to give purpose to my life. I always aim for high-quality results regardless of the role or task at hand, and customer satisfaction is extremely important to me. As a coach and leader, I am inspired by being able to help others thrive and succeed, and my goal is always to support the happiness and well-being of individuals. I am an excellent listener and a natural developer, and I love clarity and leanness. One of my innate strengths is the ability to identify logical structures in information that seems complex or chaotic, and the ability to communicate them to others clearly and coherently. Therefore, I often get to participate in developing common processes and ways of working. As a person and a colleague, I am positive, flexible, and solution oriented. I have a solid understanding of the human mind and a lot of experience in supporting people of various backgrounds. Ever since I founded Neovolentia in 2009, the main part of my work has been Business and Career coaching for small business owners, leaders, and specialists in various fields. In addition to leadership, career changes, job searching skills, and other job-related topics, career coaching often addresses well-being and happiness in work and other areas of life.

Training has always been a significant part of my work. Topics range from soft skills such as coaching and well-being to the use of information systems. I have also trained and licensed other career coaches in the use of the Firework™ Career Coaching program as a representative of Careershifters Ltd (2015-2021).

Since 2018, I have served as a guest lecturer in SCYT Oy’s coach training, with my subjects being presence and active listening.

Part of my business is also designing and creating WordPress websites, and helping other coaches and trainers transform their expertise to user-friendly, clear, and pedagogically sound online courses on various LMS platforms. On top of these, I work as a contractor for translation agencies where I translate content on various topics from English to Finnish, and proofread Finnish texts to ensure the content quality.

BCI Business Coaching Institute

Training Manager

During this project my main responsibility was to keep the Student Affairs Office running after the previous team had left the company. The job entailed various tasks, such as:

Scheduling training programs together with contract instructors
Development and description of the Study Service Process
Creating and sending monthly newsletters to clients and alumni
Launching and developing the company’s new website
Maintaining the training calendar
Managing the Howspace workspace for each training program
Managing enrolments
Coordinating external training events
Student and client communications
Managing the enrolment, mailing and feedback collection applications, online learning platform (Howspace) and Zoom accounts
Tracking student performance
ICF-Accreditation of training programs
Issuing and sending training certificates
Preparation and coordination of invoicing
Acting as a contact person for the ICF, EMCC, and other partners.

Daily customer service was also a pleasant part of my work.

While managing these tasks I also created a new feedback collection system and streamlined the invoicing and enrolment processes to help my successors run the office easier and with better quality.

Translating the Firework™ Career Coaching -program in Finnish (Mindwind Oy, 2008).

Scripting, testing and quality assurance of the eCBC online training program (Business Coaching Institute Oy, 2007)

Production of the accreditation application for the ICF; project management, translation and taking part in content creation (Business Coaching Institute Oy, 2007). The application was the only one among 300 European applications that got accepted without reclamations.

Technical Documentation Specialist

In this role, I was responsible for the production of user manuals for several Tekla software products. My tasks included

Writing and visual design of software manuals in Finnish and English
Coordinating the production of other language versions of user manuals
Localisation of user interfaces
Providing content for online instructions
Developing documentation standards and guidelines.

As a result of my work, the customer satisfaction rate of Xcity user manuals increased from -0,7 to +2,8 (scale -5 – +5)

1993 - 1999

Marketing Planner

As a Marketing Planner, I was responsibile for the design, content creation and production of all printed marketing material including brochures, flyers, binders, promotional materials for exhibitions, advertising, and more. I also

created the visual design of Tekla’s first website in mid-90´s
designed logos for several Tekla software products
Founded the internal news bulletin and acted as the Chief Editor for both this and the client newsletter for several years.

Besides taking care of my duties in marketing, I also designed and wrote a user manual for a network information system produced for the former Imatran Voima Oy. The customer appreciated the fluentness of our cooperation and said that the project exceeded their expectations regarding both content quality and timeline.

1987 - 1992

CAD Trainer & Software Support

As a full-time Trainer my main responsiblity was to design and produce course materials, and to carry out training for the users of the DOGS GIS system. I also acted as client support for this system as well as provided support for internal users of the Decwrite word processing system.
